This property is the part of Château Mongravey Margaux that lies in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The wine has more structure than your typical Haut-Médoc at this price and approaches the Margaux with its potential silkiness.It has a beautiful, deep ruby-violet color, a structured nose of red fruits, pain grillé, vanilla and oak.On the palate, the wine is elegant, full and round with red fruits and almost silky with a strong structure and long finish.This is an elegant wine that will keep for 10+ years.

The vineyard, about 7 and a half acres in size, with limestone and stones for soil, is planted to 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot.After hand harvesting, the grapes are sorted and de-stalked before traditional fermentation in stainless thermo-regulated tanks.After malolactic fermentation, the wine spends 8 months in oak barrels, one-third of which are new.
