The ruby-colored 1999 Bourgogne (this is a special cuvee for the United States) has a gorgeously sweet nose of raspberries and cherries. Medium bodied and lush, it is a spicy, zesty, cherry-crammed wine. It has excellent structure and a finish that reveals loads of supple tannin. Drink it over the next 4 years. [87 points].
