Pierre André du Chateau de Corton André Rully

Chassagne flavor for a Rully Price!
Pierre-André’s Rully comes from the village just south of Chassagne-Montrachet where the soils and exposure are very similar but the price is much better. This Rully shows a fragrant Chardonnay nose with hints of spice, vanilla, and light oak. On the palate it show the same flavors with a very nicely textured mid-palate with minerality and lots of length. This Chardonnay shows excellent balance with a crisp finish that hints of lime/lime blossom. Think of it as a Chassagne from the southern end of town!

Pierre André du Chateau de Corton André
The Maison Pierre André was created in 1923 based on the love of founder Pierre André’s love of the vine. The Château de Corton was then rebaptized when purchased in 1927 as the ‘Château de Corton-André’. Today, the illustrious manor now shelters the wines underground and houses the offices of the business. This domaine is at the heart of many famous ‘climats’ in Burgundy, which covers over 50 hectares or 125 acres. The maison is also the largest purchaser of barrels at the Hospice de Beaune auctions, because they are able to both oversee the élèvage, bottling and labeling for private customers around the world.

Maison Pierre André has created a wide selection of wines made from grapes purchased from owner-growers that work in harmony with Pierre André to provide excellent quality wines. These owner-growers have put their confidence in the winemakers at Pierre André to vinify their harvests and market the wines.
